It’s Marian — like Marian the Librarian.

Marian is an actor, singer, songwriter, and visual artist with roots along the East Coast, Chicago, and now NYC where she currently resides.

Marian recorded her first EP at age 5 on a Playskool cassette recorder, featuring the hits "Colors of the Wind" (in both English and Spanish), "Patitos Cuacuacua", and Mariah Carey's "Fantasy". Then she made her acting debut in sixth grade as Dorothy in a middle school production of The Wizard of Oz, just like Amy Poehler.

Her Chicago appearances include the Narrator in EVERY BRILLIANT THING (Windy City Playhouse), Maggie Kubley’s Come Over (Steppenwolf Lookout Series), performances at The Theatre School at DePaul University, and singing backup for synth-pop band CELINE NEON.

Off-stage, Marian is an accomplished visual artist and creates chalk pastel animal portraits, which you can view at: instagram.com/mavnart

Favorite past-times include: singing in a Heart cover band, watching anything paranormal-related and judging the validity of it, and impersonating her queens: Britney Spears and Celine Dion.

Marian received her MFA from The Theatre School at DePaul University and lives in New York City with her husband and wheaten-poodle Stella.
